The Ruling on Full-Service Intelligent Mail

On Thursday, April 18, 2013, the USPS published their final rule in the Federal Register which will a require mailers to use Full-Service Intelligent Mail to qualify for automation discounts for First-Class postcards, letters and flats when using First-Class Mail, Standard Mail & Periodicals. It will also be a requirement for flats mailed at Bound Printed Matter prices. This will be effective on January 26, 2014.
