SourceLink representatives share organization’s competencies with direct mailers on National PCC day.

The Greater Illinois Postal Customer Council is meeting on National PCC Day, September 19, 2012, and has asked representatives from SourceLink to speak to their anticipated audience of up to 400 mailing professionals.
Dan Browne, Product Manager and mailing technology expert at SourceLink, will be presenting on Intelligent Mail Barcode visibility and mail tracking. “This session will be a great opportunity to share SourceLink’s expertise in this area and the benefits of tracking mail with Intelligent Barcoding,” says Browne. “The opportunity will also be an ideal venue to offer assistance to direct mailers in the four PCC locations the Greater Illinois chapter services.”
Matt Haskell, Social Media Marketing Manager, will be speaking about the interconnectedness of direct mail and social media. His presentation will revolve around how the printed piece and online interactions have a symbiotic relationship as part of a multichannel strategy. “Modern technology allows direct mail to link with social networking,” states Haskell. “Offer sharing on social networks, especially those spawning from physical mailings, is an approach that marketers and mailers are beginning to harness.”
