Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 - SourceLink, an industry-leading multichannel marketing services firm and statement solutions provider, announced today the addition of proactive email notifications, corresponding with package deliveries, as part of the MultiTrac® mail tracking suite.

SourceLink recently expanded the MultiTrac® mail-tracking solution to include package tracking across numerous parcel providers – such as the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and more. In addition to performance updates and real-time status reports, SourceLink has added an important upgrade to the suite – proactive email notifications.

One in every eight packages is not delivered on time. This fact can impact a variety of business concerns: if the package is early, the recipient cannot plan for the delivery; if late, the recipient often blames the shipper, not the delivery company. With the integration of proactive email notifications through MultiTrac®, these concerns are alleviated with status emails notifying the recipient if there are delivery delays or if the shipment is expected any time outside of the delivery expectation. Additionally, this solution allows the recipient to know that the package has been delivered.

“We realize that one bad package delivery can ruin the relationship between a customer and the shipper, and the addition of proactive notifications makes a lot of sense from a logistics and from a customer service standpoint,” said Jim Wisnionski, SourceLink’s Chief Information Officer. “Checking on numerous tracking sites with individual tracking numbers just isn’t practical for the customer or for companies, often shipping thousands of packages at a time.”

MultiTrac® significantly reduces campaign expenses while enhancing overall program efficiency - with advanced web and app-based tracking alongside measurement and reporting tools for every piece of outbound mail, inbound mail, and packages. These package-tracking enhancements provide a direct, real-time relationship between the customer and the delivery provider to increase satisfaction, while meeting or managing delivery expectations.
