Information Related to Data Provided, Collected, and Processed for the purposes of providing Professional Services to Clients

SourceLink Services that collect personal information under the direction of its Clients, has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data SourceLink processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his or her query to SourceLink’s Client (the data controller). Our Client can request for us to remove their customer’s data, and we will respond to their request within 30 days.

SourceLink works with its Clients to help them provide notice to their customers concerning the purpose for which personal information is collected, used, and disclosed.

When Clients provide us with their customer’s personal information for the purposes of processing, SourceLink applies commercially reasonable controls throughout the Internet gateway and production process utilizing information technology components and tools such as firewalls, encryption, and network monitoring to ensure Client data is protected according to the standards required by their industry, and through formally communicated requirements. 

Use of 3rd Party Service Providers

SourceLink uses third party suppliers to provide shipping services to fulfill orders, manage email infrastructure to send emails on our behalf, and a data centre hosting provider to manage portions of our production IT infrastructure. When you engage the Services of SourceLink, any personal information provided to us is disclosed only as necessary to the third party to provide that Service. Our Client is notified of any intentional disclosure of their personal information to a third party supplier to facilitate the delivery of the Service.

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every reasonable effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required or requested by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on SourceLink or our web site. You agree to indemnify and hold SourceLink harmless for such disclosure.

Business Transactions

SourceLink will not sell your personal information to third parties except that in the event SourceLink goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred or sold as part of the transaction along with the other SourceLink assets sold or transferred.

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.  For instance, if our Service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.
